Last tuesday, when I visited the official importer Intertabak, someone told me the Partagás Selección Privada – Edición Limitada 2014 will hit the Swiss market this week. Today it’s available in Germany, tomorrow it will be available in the two Casa del Habano in Switzerland.
The dimension of the cigar is: Ring 50, lenght 160. The dimension is exactly as the legendary Magnum 50 from H. Upmann. The cigar is distributed in boxes of ten. The price for a box is € 180. The tobacco used is from the Vuelto Abajo and is aged at least two years.
My buddy Wil, who gave me the photographs for this post (thank you Wil!), has smoked one and his opinion was: An absolutely exceptional cigar.

Letzten Donnerstag, als ich den offiziellen Habanos Importeur der Schweiz, Intertabak, besuchte, sagte mir jemand, dass die Partagás Selección Privada – Edición Limitada 2014, diese Woche in den Schweizer Markt kommen wird. Seit heute ist sie in Deutschland erhältlich, Morgen wird sie in den zwei La Casa del Habano in der Schweiz erhältlich sein.
Die Dimension der Zigarre ist: Ringmass 50, Länge 160. Mit diesen Dimensionen entspricht sie exakt dem Format der legendären Magnum 50 von H. Upmann. Die Zigarre wird in Kisten zu 10 Stück vertrieben. Eine Kiste kostet € 180. Die verwendeten Tabake sind aus dem Vuelto Abajo und wurden für mindesten zwei Jahre gealtert.
Mein Freund Will, der mir die Fotografien für diesen Post gab (danke Wil!), hat eine geraucht. Seine Meinung war: Eine absolut aussergewöhnliche Zigarre.
