Two rare Portmann Jars

Yesterday I don’t had only luck with the Partagas Sobresalientes Humidor, I bought also two rare jars.
For the 40th anniversary of his company, Urs Portmann released a special Jar in 2010. The production was about 400 pieces. They contain 25 robustos with a special band.

Gestern hatte ich nicht nur Glück mit dem Partagas Sobresalientes Humidor, ich kaufte auch noch zwei rare Jars.
Für das 40-Jahr Jubiläum seines Geschäftes, gab Urs Portmann im Jahr 2010 einen speziellen Jar heraus. Die Produktion war um die 400 Stück. Sie enthalten 25 Robustos mit einer speziellen Bauchbinde.

After searching for over two years, today I got the last piece to complete my Réplica de Humidor Antiguo series. It’s the Partagas Sobresalientes Réplica de Humidor Antiguo. 200 humidors were produced in 2007. This humidor was the start of a special humidor line. Each year Habanos S.A. releases a Réplica de Humidor Antiguo of a different brand, with a specially produced cigar in it. The humidors are exclusively for the La Casa Del Habano stores.
I had luck to know Hannes Weiss, a famous cigar collector and aficionado. He had two of them and was interested to change one against another one he don’t owned.

Nach über zwei Jahr Suche, bekam ich heute das letzte Teil um meine Réplica de Humidor Antiguo Serie zu komplettieren. Es ist der Partagas Sobresalientes Réplica de Humidor Antiguo. 200 Humidore wurden im Jahr 2007 produziert. Dieser Humidor war der Start einer speziellen Humidor Linie. Jedes Jahr veröffentlicht die Habanos S.A. einen Réplica de Humidor Antiguo einer anderen Marke, mit einer speziell gefertigten Zigarre darin. Die Humidore werden exklusiv über die La Casa Del Habano Geschäfte vertrieben.
Ich hatte Glück, Hannes Weiss, ein versierter Zigarrensammler und Aficionado, zu kennen. Er hatte zwei davon und war interessiert einen gegen einen, welchen er nicht besass, zu tauschen.

Yesterday I bought, from the La Casa Del Habano Zurich, four boxes of the brand new Cohiba Robustos Supremos – Edición Limitada 2014. To get four boxes was the maximum, the others were sold or reserved. It looks like there is a high demand in the market for it. This is interesting because a single cigar has a high price of CHF 51.-. At the other side it’s logical, because it’s the first batch and the brand is Cohiba.

Gestern kaufte ich vier Kistchen der brandneuen Cohiba Robustos Supremos – Edición Limitada 2014, in der La Casa Del Habano Zürich. Vier Kistchen zu bekommen war das Maximum, alle andern waren schon verkauft oder reserviert. Es sieht danach aus, dass die Nachfrage danach im Markt sehr hoch ist. Dies ist interessant, weil eine einzelne Zigarre einen hohen Preis von CHF 51.- hat. Auf der anderen Seite ist das logisch, weil es die erste Charge und die Marke Cohiba ist.

Today the La Casa del Habano Basel received the first boxes of the Cohiba Robustos Supremos Edición Limitada 2014. They are packaged in wooden boxes of ten, for a price of CHF 510.-. The boxcode of the first shipment is OPG SEP14.
The cigar has the size of: Ring 58 and length 127mm. The tobacco used is from the districts of San Juan y Martinez and San Luis in Vuelta Abajo. It has been aged for at least two years.

Heute hat die Casa del Habano Basel die ersten Kistchen der Cohiba Robustos Supremos, Edición Limitada 2014 erhalten. Diese sind in Holzkistchen zu zehn Stück verpackt – Preis CHF 510.-. Der Boxcode der ersten Sendung ist OPG SEP14.
Die Zigarre hat eine Abmessung von: Ring 58 und Länge 127mm. Der benutzte Tabak ist aus den Distrikten San Juan y Martinez und San Luis in Vuelta Abajo. Er wurde für mindestens zwei Jahre fermentiert.

After being back from the mountains and the heavy IT-bootcamp, I visited the Casa Zurich to lower the stock of my reservations. The following boxes I could shift into my stash today:

Nachdem ich aus den Bergen und dem harten IT-Bootcamp zurückgekehrt bin, besuchte ich die Casa Zürich um den Haufen meiner Reservationen zu verkleinern. Die folgenden Boxen konnte ich heute in mein Lager verschieben:

Today I got seven boxes of the newly released Ramon Allones – Perfectos – Edición Regional Suiza. Because of heavy workload and staying in the Swiss mountains, as a teacher for an IT bootcamp, I was not able to got these at the first day of their release. Anyway, two dealers sent me the boxes to my hotel. The box-codes are all RAE SEP14.
The Ramon Allones Perfectos has the size: Ring 48, length 137mm. The tobacco used is from the districts of Vuelta Abajo and Pinar del Rio. The cigar is packaged in wooden boxes of ten pieces. 5000 numbered boxes have been produced. The price for a box is CHF 155.-.

Heute habe ich sieben Kisten der neu veröffentlichten Ramon Allones – Perfectos – Edición Regional Suiza bekommen. Wegen hoher Arbeitslast und Aufenthalt in den Schweizer Bergen, als Trainer eines IT Bootcamps, war es mir nicht möglich diese Zigarren am Tag ihrer Veröffentlichung zu erwerben. Sei es wie es will, zwei meiner Händler haben mir die Kisten deswegen ins Hotel gesandt. Die Boxcodes sind alle RAE SEP14.
Die Ramon Allones Perfectos hat die Masse: Ring 48, Länge 137mm. Der verwendete Tabak ist aus den Regionen Vuelta Abajo und Pinar del Rio. Die Zigarre ist in Holzkistchen zu zehn Stück verpackt. 5000 nummerierte Kistchen wurden produziert. Der Preis für ein Kistchen ist CHF 155.-.
