Collecting cigars needs all time attention. Many interesting things come when nobody expects it.
It’s really good to have friends who are interested in what I’m doing and thinking at me, if they are in holidays. Ramon is my office neighbour, self employed like me and he has the same passion – the smoke. I produce it with cigars he uses a Shisha. This is quite good I think, because he has the sense and passion for ‘the smoke’. Otherwise he isn’t a competitor in buying rare cigars. A Perfect constallation – isn’t it?
Before Ramon was going into holidays to Spain, I gave him a short introduction in Edición Regional España, Limitadas and other signs for rare cigars. I was really surprised, after tree days he found a small cigar-shop. He found it because I asked him to bring me some brandy from Gran Duque d’Alba XO. As he was walking to a shop, he found a small, but fine cigar-shop. As he sent me some pictures what he have found – my jaw was dropping – eight boxes of rare cigars!
A box of Cohiba Edición Limitada 2006, hard to find today. Three boxes of Rey del Mundo – Grandes de España, a disconntinued cigar, with boxdates from 1999 and 2001. Four boxes of Sancho Panza – Quijote – Edición Regional España 2011, very low chance to find, with 2500 produced boxes.

Zigarren sammeln bedingt die ganze Zeit Aufmerksamkeit. Viele interessante Dinge kommen, wenn niemand sie erwartet.
Es ist wirklich schön Freunde zu haben, die daran interessiert sind was man macht und die an einen sogar in den Ferien denken. Ramon ist mein Büronachbar, selbständig wie ich und er hat dieselbe Leidenschaft – Rauch. Ich produziere ihn mit Zigarren, er mit einer Shisha. Ich denke das ist gut, er hat ebenfalls den Sinn und die Leidenschaft für den Rauch. Andererseits ist er kein Konkurrent im Kaufen von raren Zigarren. Eine perfekte Konstellation – nicht?
Bevor Ramon nach Spanien in die Ferien ging, gab ich ihm eine Kurzeinführung in Edición Regional España, Edición Limitadas und andere Anzeichen für rare Zigarren. Ich war ziemlich überrascht, nach drei Tagen fand er ein kleines Zigarrengeschäft. Er fand es, weil ich ihn bat, mir Brandy von Grand Duque d’Alba XO zu besorgen. Als er zum Shop ging, fand er ein kleines aber gutes Zigarrengeschäft. Als er mir einige Bilder von seinem Fund sandte, ist mir der Kiefer heruntergeklappt – acht Kistchen rarer Zigarren!
Eine Kiste Cohiba Edición Limitada 2006, heute schwer zu finden. Drei Kisten El Rey del Mundo – Grandes de España, eine eingestellte Zigarre mit Boxdates von 1999 bis 2001. Vier Kisten Sancho Panza – Quijote – Edición Regional España 2011, eine kleine Chance sie zu finden, mit 2005 produzierten Boxen.
