This week was the release of the Partágas – Coronas Gordas – Añejados in the Swiss market. The La Casa del Habano Shops got it as first. The other Shops will follow from Tuesday next week.
The cigar has the dimensions of: Ring 46, lenght 14.29cm.
The official price in Switzerland for a box of 25 is CHF 485.–, the price in Germany is € 370.–. The boxes I bought have the boxcodes PTS MAY 07 and TBS MAY 07.

Diese Woche wurde die Partágas – Coronas Gordas – Añejados auf den Schweizer Markt gebracht. Die La Casa del Habanos Geschäfte bekamen sie als erste. Die anderen Händler folgen ab Dienstag nächste Woche.
Die Zigarre hat folgende Dimensionen: Ring 46, Länge 14.29cm.
Der offizielle Wiederverkaufspreis für eine Kiste mit 25 Stück ist CHF 485.–, der Preis in Deutschland ist € 370.–. Die von mir gekauften Kisten haben den Boxcode PTS MAY 07 und TBS MAY 07.

The first new cigar in the Siwss market for this year is the Hoyo de Monterrey – Hermosos No.4 – Añejados. It’s the 3th Añejados, after the last year release of the Romeo y Julieta Pirámides and the Montecristo Churchill.
The Hoyo de Monterrey is named Hermosos No.4. It has the dimensions: Ring 48 and lenght 12.7 cm. It comes in boxes of 25 pieces, for a price of CHF 425.–, the price announced for Germany ist € 325.–. In Germany the cigar should be available at the end of January 2016.
The boxdcodes I received are MBR FEB 07 and TBS FEB 07.

Die erste neue Zigarre im Schweizer Markt für dieses Jahr, ist die Hoyo de Monterrey – Hermosos No.4 – Añejados. Es ist die dritte Añejados, nach der letztjährigen Veröffentlichung der Romeo y Julieta Pirámides und der Montecristo Churchill.

After over two years of living together with my Cuban darling Yacquelin, we decided to marry at the last possible date of this year. As wedding rings we had the idea of something who is in relation to Cuba and the great cigars of this wonderful country. Something to express to each other – you are very very special for me. Something who helps us to remember easily to the year of the wedding, when we got very old and oblivious.
It’s a golden ring inspired by the cigar band of the Edición Limitada 2015.

The H. Upmann – Supremos No. 2 – Réplica Humidor Antiguo 2014 is my newest addition. I bought it 10 days ago, from the La Casa del Habano Zurich. One more will follow next week. 450 pieces were produced worldwide, 100 pieces more than the years before. Nevertheless, with 100 pieces produced more as before, it’s very hard to get one. From the last Réplica Humidor Antiguo 2013 it was no problem to allocate eight pieces, this year it looks like two is the limit. Could it be there are more and more cigar collectors worldwide and special releases like this get absorbed in the market very fast? I don’t know.

My Humidor has the serialnumber 052/450. The prodction-code is LUB JUL15. The offical retailprice in Switzerland is CHF 3’550.–.
The H. Upmann – Supremos No. 2 – Réplica Humidor Antiguo 2014 is containing 50 cigars of the vitola Supremos No.2. The dimension of the cigar is ring 55, lenght 125mm. This cigar is also known as Butifarra or “Flying Pig” and can be seen in a British catalog from 1935.

Der H. Upmann – Supremos No. 2 – Réplica Humidor Antiguo 2014 ist mein neuster Zugang. Ich kaufte ihn vor 10 Tagen in der La Casa del Habano Zürich. Ein weiterer wird nächste Woche folgen. 450 Stück wurden weltweit produziert, 100 Stück mehr als die Jahre davor. Nichtsdestotrotz, mit 100 Stück mehr produzierten, es ist sehr schwer ihn zu bekommen. Vom letzten Réplica Humidor Antiguo 2013 war es kein Problem an acht Stück zu kommen, dieses Jahr scheint bei zwei Stück zu bleiben. Könnte es sein, dass es weltweit mehr und mehr Zigarrensammler gibt und Spezialveröffentlichungen sehr schnell vom Markt absorbiert werden? Ich weiss es nicht.

Mein Humidor hat die Serienummer 052/450. Der Produktionscode ist LUB JUL15. Der offizielle Wiederverkaufspreis in der Schweiz ist CHF 3’550.–.

Since yesterday, Oct. 14, the H. Upmann – No.2 Reserva Cosecha 2010 is available in the Swiss market. The three La Casa del Habano in Switzerland have received a small quantity of this cigar. In Germany the cigar was released two weeks ago.
As all cigars of the Reserva series, the boxes are in black lacquer and containing 20 cigars. The number of boxes produced is 5000. All tobacco is from the harvest of 2010 and was specially aged for a minimum of three years.
The dimension of the cigar is: Ring 52, lenght 156mm.
The price for a box in Switzerland is CHF 820.– and in Germany € 780.–.
The serialnumbers of my bought boxes are all over 3000 and have the boxcode LUB MAR15.

Seit gestern, dem 14. Oktober, ist die H. Upmann – No.2 Reserva Cosecha 2010 im Schweizer Markt erhältlich. Die drei La Casa del Habano in der Schweiz haben eine kleine Menge dieser Zigarre erhalten. In Deutschland war die Zigarre vor zwei Wochen schon erhältlich.
Wie alle Zigarren der Reserva Serie ist sie in Kisten mit schwarzem Lack, zu 20 Stück, abgepackt. Es wurden 5000 Kisten produziert. Alle Tabake stammen von der Ernte des Jahres 2010 und wurden für das Minimum von 3 Jahren speziell reifegelagert.
Die Dimension der Zigarre ist: Ring 52, Länge 156mm.
Der Preis für eine Kiste in derSchweiz ist CHF 820.– und in Deutschland € 780.–.
Die Serienummern meiner gekauften Kisten sind alle über 3000 und haben den Boxcode LUB MAR15.

As expected the first Ramón Allones – Club Allones – Edición Limitada 2015 arrived in the three La Casa del Habano, in Switzerland today.
The price for a box of ten cigars is 155.– CHF. The type of the cigar is a Gran Corona with the dimensions: ring 47 and lenght 135mm.
The tobacco for the cigar comes from the district of Vuelta Abajo and was aged for at least two years.

Der Preis für eine 10er-Kiste ist 155.– CHF. Die Vitaol ist eine Gran Corona mit den Massen: Ring 47 und länge 135mm.
Der Tabak für die Zigarre kommt aus dem Distrikt Vuelta Abajo und wurde für mindesten zwei Jahre gereift.

The Ramon Allones – Club Allones – Edición Limitada 2015 has been arrived in Germany. A box of 10 cigars has a price of 125.– €.
For Switzerland it will arrive in the three La Casa del Habano shops this Friday. The other retailers follow one week later as usual. The price for Switzerland is 155.– CHF.

The cigar is a Gran Corona and has the dimensions: ring 47, lenght 135mm.

Today a new cigar was released in the Swiss market. It’s the H. Upmann Magnum 56, Edición Limitada 2015. It’s available now from the La Case del Habano’s, the other retailers will follow at the 31th of July.
The cigar comes in boxes of 25 and has the dimension: Lenght 150mm, Ring 56.
The filler and binder leafs coming from Vuelta Abajo. The price of a box with 25 is CHF 650.–.
From the seven bought boxes six have the boxcode AUM MAY15, one has OPG MAY15.

Heute ist eine neue Zigarre im schweizer Markt erschienen. Es ist die H. Upmann Magnum 56 – Edición Limitada 2015. Sie ist nun in den La Casa del Habao’s erhältlich. Die anderen Geschäfte werden ab 31. July folgen.
Die Zigarre kommt in Kistchen von 25 Stück und hat die Diemensionen: Länge 150mm, Ringmass 56.
Die verwendeten Tabakblätter kommen aus Vuelta Abajo. Der Preis eines Kistchens mit 25 Stück ist CHF 650.–.

This week was in the sign of CoLa.

Not the Cola you may think like Coca Cola, Pepsi Cola, or if you stay in Cuba TuKola. CoLa in this case stands for Cohiba and Lafite Rothschild. Frequent readers know I like of course cigars and also wine. My personal reference points are Cuba for tobacco and Bordeaux for wines. This week was perfect for both. I bought three bottles of Lafite Rothschild 1961. It was impossible to resist, because 1961 it my year of birth. The other part was a Cohiba Silglo VI, Gran Reserva Cosecha 2003. The box is 0663 form 5000 produced boxes. It’s very difficult to find it on the market, for a reasonable price. Thanks to Michael, who has supported me to get it.

Diese Woche war im Zeichen von CoLa.

Nicht das Cola, dass Sie vielleicht denken mögen, wie Coca Cola, Pepsi Cola, oder wenn sie in Kuba sind TuKola. CoLa in diesem Fall bedeutet Cohiba und Lafite Rothschild. Regelmässige Leser meines Blogs wissen, ich liebe selbstverständlich Zigarren und ebenso Wein. Meine persönlichen Referenzpunkte sind Kuba für Tabak und Bordeaux für Wein. Diese Woche war für beides perfekt. Ich kaufte drei Flaschen Lafite Rothschild 1961. Ich konnte nicht widerstehen, weil 1961 mein Geburtsjahr ist. Der andere Teil war eine Kiste Cohiba Siglo VI, Gran Reserva Cosecha 2003. Die Kiste hat die Nummer 0663 von 5000 produzierten Kisten. Es ist sehr schwierig diese für einen vernünftigen Preis auf dem Markt zu finden. Danke an Michael, der mir geholfen hat diese zu bekommen.

In the former Post I wrote my 25 Aniversario Cohiba Jar from 5th Avenue doesn’t have a serialnumber. Finaly I received the number 0053/ 1500 as a sticker. Nice number, it’s the country code for dialing to Cuba.
An additional point to notice: The cap lies loosely at the top of the jar. You have to be very careful if you take the jar from a rack. If you held it a little bit diagonal the cap drops from the jar to the ground. I’m sure the 1500 entities will be reduced in a short time, because of frequent accidents.

Im vorherigen Post schrieb ich, dass mein 25 Aniversario Cohiba Jar von 5th Avenue keine Serienummer hat. Zu guter Letzt habe ich die Nummer 0053 / 1500 als Aufkleber erhalten. Hübsche Nummer, es ist die Vorwahl für Cuba.
Ein zusätzlicher zu erwähnender Punkt: Der Deckel liegt locker auf dem Jar. Man hat sehr vorsichtig zu sein, wenn man diesen von einem Gestell nimmt. Hält man ihn etwas schräg, so fällt der Deckel vom Jar auf den Boden. Ich wette die 1500 Einheiten werden sich, wegen regelmässigen Unfällen, schnell reduzieren.
