2008 was the release of the Cohiba Sublimes Extra for the Colección Habanos series. Cohiba ist the most known and prestigiuos brand of all cuban cigars worldwide. The 8th edition of the Colección Habanos serie was released as 1000 books, containing 20 cigars, distributed over the Casa Habanos network worldwide.

After being back from the mountains and the heavy IT-bootcamp, I visited the Casa Zurich to lower the stock of my reservations. The following boxes I could shift into my stash today:

Yesterday I bought five entities of Partagás Serie E No.1 – Colección Habanos, from the Casa del Habano Basel and Zurich. It was really hard to got the quantity I wanted. It looks like the cigar is very limited, despite they have extended the first time the produced quantity of the Colección Habanos from 1000 to 2000 pieces.
The Partagás Serie E No.1 has the size of: Ring 54, length 170mm. All entities have the production code ULA JUL14.

Gestern habe ich fünf Einheiten Partagás Serie E No.1 – Colección Habanos, in den Casa del Habano in Basel und Zürich gekauft. Es war wirklich schwer die gewünschte Menge, die ich wollte, zu bekommen. Es sieht danach aus, dass die Zigarre sehr limitiert ist, obwohl die produzierte Menge der Colección Habanos zum ersten mal von 1000 auf 2000 Stück angehoben wurde.
Die Partagás Serie E No.1 hat die Dimensionen: Ring 54, Länge 170mm. Alle Einheiten haben den Produktionscode ULA JUL14.

New in the Swiss market, since today: Partagás Serie E No. 1, Colección Habanos, Edición 2013.
This cigar is produced exclusively for the La Casa del Habano stores and is packaged in a small humidor, which is looking like a book. The ‘book’ contains 20 cigars Partagás Serie E No. 1 and it’s limited to 2000 pieces worldwide. The price for the cigar in the Swiss market is CHF 1’350.-, for Germany it’s € 1140.-.

The Colección Habanos for the year 2007 was from H. Upmann. The released cigar was a Mágnum Especial with the dimensions of: Ring 55 and lenght of 155mm. Each book contains 20 cigars. The book was manufactured exclusively for the Casas del Habano. 500 pieces are existing worldwide. Therefore it is very hard to find these cigars in the market.

Die Colección Habanos für das Jahr 2007 wurde von H. Upmann veröffentlicht. Die Zigarre war eine Mágnum Especial mit den Dimensionen: Ring 55 und Länge 155mm. Jedes Buch enthält zwanzig Zigarren. Das Buch wurde exklusiv für die Casas del Habano hergestellt. 500 Stück existieren weltweit. Darum ist es sehr schwer diese Zigarren noch im Markt zu finden.

The Colección Habanos in the year 2006 celebrated the label Trinidad. The label has it’s name from the city of Trinidad in Cuba. Since 1988 it’s in the UNESCO World Heritage.
From the book 500 pieces were released worldwide. A book contains 20 cigars Torre Iznaga, with the dimnension: Ring 52, lenght 170mm.

Die Colección Habanos im Jahr 2006 feierte die Marke Trinidad. Die Marke hat ihren Namen von der Stadt Trinidad in Kuba. Diese ist seit 1988 im UNESCO Weltkulturerbe verzeichnet.
Vom Buch wurden weltweit 500 Stück produziert. Ein Buch enthält 20 Zigarren Torre Iznaga, mit den Abmessungen: Ring 52, Länge 170mm.

The 2005 Colección Habanos was released to honor the label Montecristo. It’s one of the most known three labels along with Cohiba and Partagas. 2005 was the 70th anniversary of the brand. (You can be for sure, in 2015, at the 80th anniversary, there will be released other interesting things around the brand.)
500 books were produced worldwide. Each of them contains 20 cigars Maravillas No.1, with the dimension of: ring 55 and lenght 182mm.

Die Colección Habanos 2005 wurde zu Ehren der Marke Montecristo veröffentlicht. Dies ist einer der drei bekanntesten Marken, nebst Cohiba und Partagas. 2005 war der 70. Geburtstag der Marke. (Man kann für 2015, zum 80-jährigen Jubiläum, sicher sein, dass andere interessante Dinge rund um die Marke veröffentlicht werden.)
500 Bücher wurden weltweit produziert. Jedes enthält 20 Zigarren Maravillas No.1, mit den Massen: Ring 58, Länge 182mm.

The book from Colección Habanos, in the year 2004 was from the brand Romeo y Julieta. 500 numbered books were produced. The book contains 20 cigars FABULOSOS No. 6, lenght 160mm and ring 52. The internal factory name is Cañonazo No. 1. The cigar was produced from the best rollers in the factory, with love and passion, to reach immortality, as it is very nicely expressed in the booklet.
You see six pictures from my book, number 195 from 500, the scans from the booklet with eight pages and the PDF’s from the booklet in small and large size.

Das Buch aus der Colección Habnos, für das Jahr 2004, stammt von der Marke Romeo Y Julieta. 500 nummerierte Bücher wurden produziert. Das Buch enthält 20 Zigarren FABULOSOS No. 6, Länge 180mm, Ringmass 52. Der in der Fabrik verwendete Name ist Cañonazo No. 1. Die Zigarre wurde von den besten Rollern der Fabrik gefertigt, mit Liebe und Passion um Unsterblichkeit zu erreichen, wie es im beiliegenden Büchlein sehr schön ausgedrückt wird.
Zu sehen sind sechs Bilder meines Buches, mit der Nummer 195 von 500, die Scans des Beilage-Büchleins mit acht Seiten und die PDFs vom Büchlein in grosser und kompakter Ausführung.

The 3th volume of the Colección Habanos was released 2003. It contains 20 cigars of the format Hoyo de Monterrey – Extravaganza, with the size of 187mm and a ring of 50. 500 Books were made worldwide. Therefore it’s really hard to find it today. I had luck to get one, because a famous collector, sold me this very nice collectable.

Die dritte Ausgabe der Colleción Habanos wurde im Jahr 2003 veröffentlicht. Es enthält 20 Zigarren des Formats Hoyo de Monterrey Extravaganza, mit der Länge von 187mm und einem 50er Ringmass. Weltweit wurden 500 Stück gefertigt. Deshalb ist es sehr schwierig heute noch ein Exemplar davon zu finden. Ich hatte Glück, da ein grosser Zigarrensammler und Kenner, mir dieses hübsche Sammlerstück verkauft hat.

The 2nd book from Colección Habanos was released to honor La Flor de Tabacos de Partagás, in the year 2002. The book contains twenty cigars of Serie C No. 1. There were only 300 books produced for the market worldwide. Therefore this is a really rare piece of cuban craftmanship.

Das zweite Buch aus der Colección Habanos wurde zu Ehren der La Flor de Tabacos de Partagás, im Jahr 2002, veröffentlicht. Das Buch enthält zwanzig Zigarren der Serie C No. 1. Weltweit wurden nur 300 Stück hergestellt. Darum ist dieses Buch ein seltenes Exemplar kubanischer Handwerkskunst.
